Professional Background: I don’t have much ☺…but for the past 2 ½ years I have been a stay at home mom. Before that I worked as an Account Processor for a company in Orem. And I only have to complete 1 more year of college to get my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education.
What you wanted to be when you grew up:Â A lawyer
What you are:Â Stay at home mom and small business owner
Brief Summary of your Start Up: After taking a couple classes from Paul Allen at BYU my husband decided it was his turn to start his own business. He chose what he loved (Golf) and ran with it. We found a Golf Course artist who was willing to sell us her paintings and ship them for us. We bought $1,000 worth of her paintings and a site builder and went to work. We launched in December of 2005 and have slowly had more traffic and sales. We now have 2 more wholesalers and one more in the making. We sell framed art, unframed art, limited edition prints and golf sculptures. It’s been fun making a little bit of extra money while being a stay at home mom. But it has also had its stressful moments.
