Give Yourself Give Yourself Permission to Focus on Important Projects and Utilize Email Auto-Responders

For a few days I’ve envied people who have auto-responders on their emails that say, “I only check email at 10am and 4pm, I look forward to replying to you soon” or “thanks so much your your email, I’m on vacation until…” Auto-responders for emails are the perfect solution for those of us who are in high volume workload and just can’t get to email as fast as we’d like or we just don’t want to commit to email all day long, which can get in the way of other projects. It can be so tempting for me to delay a task needing attention and check email instead.
If you email me in the next couple of weeks you’ll receive a friendly auto-responder email because I’m going to focus 100% on my family and my upcoming Mrs. Utah pageant, for which I’ve been training since February. Wish me luck!
Today’s Magic Wand Tip: Consider whether an auto-responder would be a benefit to your business, ability to get more things done, or take a break with peace of mind.
Have you had a good experience using email auto-responders? Tell us about it!
