Name: Christine Kloser

Hometown: Binghamton, NY

Current Residence (City, State): Red Lion, PA

Education: B.S. Providence College

Professional Background (brief, please): I’ve been an entrepreneur for 15 years in industries ranging from health and fitness to book publishing and coaching.

What you wanted to be when you grew up: A Teacher

What you are: Business Coach and Book Publisher

Brief Summary of your Start Up: The Conscious Business Circle started in the fall of 2006 to serve entrepreneurs who are committed to bringing their spiritually/consciousness into business… to put soul in their business, and money in their bank.

Company Website? www.ConsciousBusinessCoach.com.

What inspired you? My own personal experience as a spiritual entrepreneur. I wanted to share the principles I’d been using I my own life (and business) to achieve results without compromising my beliefs.

How long have you been in business? I’ve been an entrepreneur for 15 years, but this particular business is still a baby… not even 1 year old yet.

How did you fund it? Resources from other business endeavors.

Do you have a Fairy Godmother (or Mentor)? Alexandria Brown, “The Ezine Queen”

Do you belong to any Business Organization or Networking Groups?
I am the Founder of the Network for Empowering Women Entrepreneurs, which I ran for 7 years in Los Angeles. Now that I’ve moved to a new area, I’m still finding my way around the networking world here. Thankfully, I do have 2 fantastic women’s circles that I participate in every month… those keeps me going on so many levels… not just business.

Current Business Challenge? Attracting ideal new members to my team. I’m going through an exciting expansion, but the growth can be a bit overwhelming.

What are you doing about it? Delegating as much as possible to the people on my current team, and creating new job descriptions for the positions I need to fill.

Favorite motivational quote: “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” -Eleanor Roosevelt

Family? Yup. A fantastic husband and rambunctious 2 year-old daughter.

If so, how do you balance family and business? It’s a delicate balance. Thankfully, my husband stays home with our daughter, while I spend most of my days in our home office working. It’s great to be right here at home and know my daughter has fantastic care during the day. Plus, I do a good job of taking trips to the park, walks around the neighborhood, going to the job, family excursions and vacations, attending my women’s circle and an occasional day at the spa… just for me! I also love to cook for my family (and bake pies), that helps me shift gears from “marketer” to “mom.”

Favorite book? My most recent favorite book is “The 4-Hour Work Week” by Tim Ferriss.

What do you do to relax?
Exercise, meditate, go to the spa, watch family videos, read an inspiring book, soak in the bath, bake a pie (or banana bread) and listen to great music.

What do you want to change most about your world? I want to empower entrepreneurs to be successful in business (as in, make a lot of money) and get rid of thinking that it’s not spiritual to be rich. It takes money to change the world!

What are you most proud of? Feeling like I’m really doing a good job (as wife, mother and business owner).

What advice would you like to offer other Start Up Princesses? Ask for help! Everything you don’t know how to do, someone else DOES! Let yourself be guided by someone who has “been there, done that” and it’ll shortcut your road to success.

Favorite Magic Wand (tool/resource)? My recent favorite is www.CopyTalkNow.com. Simply call to record a 4 minute message and they’ll transcribe and deliver it to your inbox within 24 hours.

If you could design a tiara, what precious stones would you use? Diamonds and sapphire… the stones in my engagement ring and wedding band.

Would you be interested in being a Fairy Godmother to another woman entrepreneur? (I am working on a secure system to do this, any ideas?) Right now, my plate is so full; I don’t know how much I’d be able to give. Let me know when it proceeds and we’ll see what life is like then.

What business subjects would you feel comfortable mentoring in? online marketing, non-fiction book publishing, ezine publishing, general business consulting/strategy for information marketers.

Would you be interested in going to lunch with other women entrepreneurs for a “networking tea party”? Depends on where and when.
