Three Cheers for Gwen Bell, the Artful Blogger and Fairy Godmother too

In general, the blogosphere has become lazy. I admit it, I rarely write something quality these days, so when I see something artfully constructed AND about women in business, it’s magical. I’d like to think Gwen Bell’s magic is somehow related to the fact that she’s a Startup Princess Fairy Godmother and has a sparkly magic wand, but I know she was born with this gift. Gwen is more than a great writer, she’s a CONNECTOR, she’s a TEACHER, and she’s a LEADER in Social Media and Entrepreneurship… you should watch her in action! If you Tweet, follow her @gwenbell.

The post I’m cheering for tBarbara, Gwen and Holly by zaellen.oday is her latest one, one of my all-time favorite blog posts of the year, Women and The Hidden Economy for Huffington.  After you’ve read that one, please get on Gwen’s blog and get to know what else she’s been writing about lately.  Love the post she wrote after attending our Startup Princess retreat as well. (She BLEW me away by wearing Fairy Godmother wings the entire weekend, what a fun, sparkly personality she has!)

Did I fail to mention she’s one of the Kirtsy chicks too? She’s been doing Hands on Kirtsy events, so who knows? You might get to meet her in person soon…either for Kirtsy or we hope she’ll do more events for Startup Princess. Here’s Gwen with baby Nora, Quinn’s baby at our retreat.Gwen Bell and baby Nora by zaellen.

Wasn’t that a rockin’ post by Gwen @ Huffington? I’m still pondering on it. Thanks for your thoughts, Kelly! I really appreciate your perspective on business, on life, on everything. YOU are a connector, too! Also, thanks for posting that pic with Norah. Still in awe that Gwen just snagged her; provided me a bit of respite – it was tough to bring Norah to the Conference, but I really appreciate you making that option available or I wouldn’t have been there & that would have been AWFUL!!! It was such an AMAZING, INCREDIBLE Conference; one I’ll never, ever forget. Thank you for all you do. You are my hero. Lots & lots of love… xoxo

Startup Princess is an international network committed to empowering Women Entrepreneurs by offering resources for women in business to support, mentor, collaborate, learn from, and inspire one another. In 2006, after struggling to raise funding for an initial startup business venture, Kelly King Anderson recognized an important market niche existed for reliable resources educating women desiring to start and grow successful businesses, thus Startup Princess was developed.

Successful women entrepreneurs understand that for every business venture, they are in charge of creating, organizing, developing, managing, and assuming all the risks associated with their enterprise. That can seem quite intimidating but as other women business owners will tell you, it’s a lot of work, but it’s worth it! Success is within your grasp and Startup Princess is here to help.

First, join as a member of Startup Princess and start building a solid foundation. Membership entitles you to a listing in the Startup Princess Online Directory where we list women owned businesses. You’ll also access exclusive content like articles, videos, and audio straight from your email inbox. Coupled with feature interviews, discounts on events, networking connections, and press opportunities, your Startup Princess membership will give any woman entrepreneur a great start for her business!

Then, take advantage of Touchpoint, our annual business conference for women entrepreneurs. Practical planning meets sky-high inspiration at this high-impact event for women business owners to network and develop their approach to business with wisdom and creative direction from other women entrepreneurs across the country.

Need a little help taking your business to the next step? Wish you had a fairy godmother like Cinderella offering you a helping hand? Now you can! Startup Princess is the home of Fairy Godmother Consulting, volunteer mentors sharing tips and insights to bless the lives of other women entrepreneurs.

Startup Princess can offer many benefits to women in business from future women business owners to successful women entrepreneurs.
