Brief Summary of your Start Up:
I was trying to get my own kids ready for school and could not find exactly what I was looking for so I wrote and self-published, Let’s Get Ready For Kindergarten! and Let’s Get Ready For First Grade! and created Cedar Valley Publishing. I also have Stacey Kannenberg Unlimited where I published two books for Jodie Lynn, Mom CEO, Chief Everything Officer, Having, Doing and Surviving It All and Syndication Secrets and will be releasing two books by Barbara Rockaway, Daddy, Where are You? and Mommy, Where are You? in Fall of 2007. I am a Principal in Mom Central Consulting where we help companies reach the mom market.

Do you have a Fairy Godmother (or Mentor)? Stacy DeBroff (founder of Mom Central and Mom Central Consulting) has been my fairy godmother, my mentor, my soul sister and mom guru all rolled into one!
Do you belong to any Business Organization or Networking Groups? PMA, Mamasource, Ladies that Launch, several social networks on Ning and so many more!!! That’s the key, build a network!
Current Business Challenge? Finding time to get everything done in a day!

If so, how do you balance family and business? I empower and involve my family every step of the way. I am currently writing, Let’s Get Ready For Second Grade and Heidi just finished Second Grade, so who better to help than her!!! Both my kids are experts on being kids and I need their ideas to help reach the kid market!!! I could not do what I do without their input and support!

What do you do to relax? Read, read, read! Play with the kids: our favorites are basketball, golfing, and 4 wheeling

What advice would you like to offer other Start Up Princesses? If you can dream it you can build it! The more obstacles you are willing to jump the more opportunities will come your way! Do what makes you happy and you will find success!
