This week we’ve featured Molly Barker of Girls on The Run and Joni Eareckson Tada of Joni & Friends, women who are living the American Dream…now it’s time to feature a few Start Up Princess members’ American dreams and to hear YOUR American Dream. *Please share your dream with us by commenting on this post. Inspire us!! *

My American Dream is to demonstrate that America is STILL the land of opportunity. I see myself educating, motivating, and dedicating the rest of my life to inspire and educate people of all ages that they can create the life of their dreams. Start Up Princess is the vehicle of how I do this with women entrepreneurs. I KNOW dreams do come true when you seek out and create opportunities for yourself, get the appropriate education and training, plan well, work hard, and surround yourself with great mentors and a supportive community. My short term business dream is to make Start Up Princess profitable and self-sustaining by year 2 and reach an even broader international audience to share our curriculum for entrepreneurs. We will continue to educate online and produce sold-out events and conferences in major cities. Make a Wish, Make it Happen!
-Kelly King Anderson, Founder/Fairy Godmother Start Up Princess
My American Dream is to provide a viable business opportunity to people who would normally have no chance to own their own business. There are sectors of our population that have “barriers to employment” due to physical, emotional and mental challenges. They can’t get jobs and don’t have money to start a business. Some of these would make great entrepreneurs if given the opportunity. Online Community Magazines gives them that opportunity without requiring any personal financial investment, allowing them to work from home and hire additional help. Online Community Magazines gives them that opportunity without requiring any personal financial investment, allowing them to work from home and hire additional help. The magazine offers inexpensive advertising where members of a local community or an online industry can each have their own column, radio or tv program to show off their expertise. That is my American Dream.

My dream is to continue giving mom entrepreneurs opportunities through our promise to sell only products created for moms by moms and give Babies R Us some real competition. I want to open up retail Mom 4 Life stores and sell them as a franchise. I want to create a unique business opportunity for others with a drive and passion to help moms and continue to spread the influence and blessing that Mom 4 Life offers to the moms who products are sold as well as the less fortunate moms who are helped by our 10% donation.
-Heather Ledeboer, Mom4Life
Everyday, I work towards a dream in my own business, one where I grow to the next level, and am that much closer to being the face of a new success. Looking back, I’ve been featured on the cover of a magazine. It’s not the status or ego that I am looking for, but the power of knowing that I am at a stage where the money I’ve earned can now do more good than it ever could before. The opportunity we have to give back to the community, earth, society, individuals and our own families can make a big difference with that thing we call money. I look forward to the day when my earned dollar goes that much further into changing problems, and creating solutions. We can all make a difference, this I believe!

Here’s my dream Kelly! Thanks for opening our hearts to this today.
I dream of helping families start (or continue) a family tradition of sharing stories… stories of fun, hope, encouragement, and overcoming hard times. I want to get families talking! I dream of Cherish Boundbecoming a household name as a force of independent sales consultants share the message creating meaningful moments with story. I dream of opening a world of opportunity to my children and grandchildren and leaving a legacy of love and never giving up on what matters most!
That’s beautiful, Fairy Godmother Carol. Thanks for sharing YOUR dream with us!
My American dream is two fold:
1. To inspire and encourage women to actively create lives that are personally fulfilling while fulfilling the various roles of women and
2. Help women to recognize that they have a role to play in the world at large, a world that is filled with evil and to recognize that women have the ability, through courage and persistance to stand up for good and heal the world.
We women are a powerful force for good. We have to stay focused on our individual part of the world but we also have to realize that to overcome the evil of the world we have to be willing to confront it. Sometimes that requires sacrifice on our part but if the world is going to be a better place for our children and grandchildren, we women will have to take the lead.
My personal American dream? At the end of my life, I want my husband, children, grandchildren, siblings and friends to say with a smile, “She healed the world.”
