Brief Summary of your Start Up:Â Home Based Home Furniture and Design Store.Â We showcase over 6000 sq ft of showroom in the basement of our home.Â It includes an incredible design center and over 200 manufacturers to choose from.Â We welcome children and husbands.Â The children love playing on the playground and the husbands usually end up watching a movie in the theater room while eating ice cream.Â We have two rules: We have to have fun, and eat chocolate. â˜º

What inspired you? The constant request from others to help them create great new and exciting looks for their home.Â From blueprints to blank rooms- I see 3-dimmentionally as if it is already complete-down to the very last accessory and light switch.

How did you fund it? One day at a time
Do you have a Fairy Godmother (or Mentor)? Yes, my third grade teacher who was a survivor of the Holocaust.Â She taught me that it doesnâ€™t matter what happens in life around youâ€”you survive and overcome.
Do you belong to any Business Organization or Networking Groups?Â Healthy Wealthy Wow.
Current Business Challenge? Not allowing my passion for design to consume me.
What are you doing about it?Â Planning play time with my kids and husband every week.Â Date night with Rob and Party night with the kids!!!

Family? Yes, Husband and 5 children
If so, how do you balance family and business?Â Â I involve them.Â My sons help with deliveries and construction and my daughters help design and stage the showroom when new accessories come in.

What do you do to relax?Â Snuggle with my husband
What do you want to change most about your world?Â I need to learn that no matter how much I do in a day there will always be more to do tomorrow so quit burning the candle at both ends.
What are you most proud of?Â My husband and 5 beautiful children.
What advice would you like to offer other Start Up Princesses?Â Never give up.Â There will never be a time in life when there are no bumps in the road, you just learn to maneuver around them.

If you could design a tiara, what precious stones would you use? Diamonds- Pure and elegant.
Would you be interested in being a Fairy Godmother to another woman entrepreneur? (I am working on a secure system to do this, any ideas?)Â Yes.Â (I will think about it and let you know what I come up with.)
What business subjects would you feel comfortable mentoring in? Finance, business strategy, and planning for success.
