What inspired you? My own mother who is a Marriage Counselor, Therapist, Massage Therapist, Aromatherapist, as well as my realization that women have needs for nurturing that are not being met by and large in a corporate America world.

How long have you been in business? Since 2001

How did you fund it? Various investors helped to produce the cds but mostly, I funded it as I went along by working hard, rising early and praying harder!

Do you have a Fairy Godmother (or Mentor)?
I am inspired by every woman who follows her dream—but none assigned to me as of yet…

Do you belong to any Business Organization or Networking Groups? Yes

Current Business Challenge? I only see many opportunities—and sometimes I want to run faster than I am able being a human… would like the money to fund everything up front but know that line up line…it is coming.

What are you doing about it?

Favorite motivational quote: Mother Theresa’s “Send Love Anyway” and I have added to this, “I claim joy anyway…” if something happens that I cannot control.

Family? Four beautiful loving teenagers…who have been on this journey with me and who are very accommodating and patient!

If so, how do you balance family and business? Not always easy, business takes over…but I have been a single mom and so I have to provide. Try to get up early and do crock pot…wish I had a housecleaner…know of any good ones?

Favorite book? Any book about gratitude and joy right now

What do you do to relax?
Get to work…it’s the most relaxing thing in my world….

What do you want to change most about your world? I would like to receive more massages…at least once a week…if not once a day!

What are you most proud of?
The women in your group. They are amazing young mom’s with great talents! I love it!

What advice would you like to offer other Start Up Princesses?
To not discouraged when they have small families…keep focusing on doing something every day that reminds you of your interests, hobbies and professional pursuits…get up in the early mornings if you have to to find time for yourself and to remember and keep up in your awareness that you are not only a wife and a mother, but that you have specific gifts and talents which still need to be developed, polished, perfected and shared with the world. Line upon line…precept upon precept…it will come. Ask for Divine inspiration and direction every day…it will come in small and do-able steps…
