Congratulations, and good luck to all on achieving your 2012 goals!

It’s that time of year when my clients are all depressed.  Maybe you’ve experienced this, too.  Perhaps your year is starting off slower than you expected or worse, you’ve already “broken” your New Year’s Resolution(s).  (I don’t believe in New Year’s Resolutions.  But perhaps you know that about me already. :)

Well, don’t fret.  If you learn nothing else from me, I hope that you learn that you have a gift, and it’s something you get every 24 hours.  You get a new day.  Don’t wait for a new year to kick-off a new you.

To make it interesting, I thought it would be fun to do a little giveaway with some of my favorite RESTART things.  One lucky winner will receive:

  – A free hour of coaching with me, Michelle McCullough (we can talk about your business, or we can talk about personal development or we can talk about BOTH!)  You’ll also receive an hour of free video from me on The Life Balance Myth, sent straight to your in box.  Value $500

- And you’ll also receive: Tiffany Peterson’s Sales Mastery CD.  By far the BEST course I have ever read, heard, or attended.  And I’ve read, heard and attended A LOT of sales trainings. Tiffany and I have been teaching many of the same principles over the last decade.  I just didn’t know it until I really met her last year.  That said, this is hands down the best sales training out there.   And she delighted me by adding one to the giveaway! Value $97

- And because I know that some of you need a restart to get your finances in order, I have secured a free ANNUAL membership to Deductr.  This is a time and expense tracking system that will help you get on top of your business finances.  It was designed BY small business experts FOR small businesses, like yours. I have many big goals for the upcoming year and I’m so happy to say I’m already starting to check them off one at a time. One of my biggest goals is to photograph at least one destination wedding this year. I just had an inquiry come in this morning, so wish me luck!

  2. Meagan Daniel on February 22nd, 2012 3:48 pm

Hi! My name is Meagan and I am from Birmingham, Alabama. I have recently made the decision to attempt to bike across America and help raise funds for Alabama tornado relief. I am recent business school graduate and participant in various entrepreneurial and business plans writing contest. I have been in corporate America for over a year, and have decided that in 2012 I wasn’t going to do something challenging to give back to society and use my skills I learned through my education to help make a difference in lives. I hope to do this while on my cross country challenge along with having two months to devote to personal development in myself. I have followed start-up princess for a while on twitter and am always taking in any information and advice that will help nourish my entrepreneurial spirit. I’m in my mid-twenties and I have many years to ahead to accomplish great things. But why not start now? I was once interviewed and asked my greatest fear. My answer: not being able to make a positive impact in someway. I want to be a woman leader and help make a difference! Any tools, help, and advice I can get would be greatly appreciated. I want to be a leader

My big hairy audacious goal this year is I am opening a new designer children’s clothes shop on the 24th March. I have been a full time mum for over 3 years now having left the food industry after my 2 nd child was born.

    Wish me luck.

I am a profound independent woman who raised a daughter by myself & obtained an education, worked in the legal field @ least 50 to 60 hrs for over 25 years yet ALWAYS making my daughter my priorty…trying to be an example & inspiration to her. I was ridiculed for not being a conformist as the beloved women in my family in previous generations had been. I taught my daughter that she could achieve family, motherhood, career with great passion…she did, then suddenly by accident, she passed away @ the age of 29 yrs. old. My whole life, my world, my identity as a Mother was obsolete, or so I thought. I am 50 yrs old attempting to redefine my life in every area. My daughter was the one person in my life whom I shared everything & right before she left here, she showed me how to utilize FB & other social media networks but never had the chance to finish. She knew better than me that I could create & achieve a personal business on line.
I have to admit I am @ a crossroads with great desire & passion to begin however, (not to sound ignorant) do NOT have a clue! I miss conversing & just spending quality time with my “girl” fellows.
I pray that my God will open my eyes & ears to ANY & ALL opportunities that I know He has for me ~ I am so very grateful❤

Since we’re relatively new to entrepreneurship, I’d love to hear your insights and learn from your experience.

Become A Startup Princess

Startup Princess is an international network committed to empowering Women Entrepreneurs by offering resources for women in business to support, mentor, collaborate, learn from, and inspire one another. In 2006, after struggling to raise funding for an initial startup business venture, Kelly King Anderson recognized an important market niche existed for reliable resources educating women desiring to start and grow successful businesses, thus Startup Princess was developed.

Successful women entrepreneurs understand that for every business venture, they are in charge of creating, organizing, developing, managing, and assuming all the risks associated with their enterprise. That can seem quite intimidating but as other women business owners will tell you, it’s a lot of work, but it’s worth it! Success is within your grasp and Startup Princess is here to help.

First, join as a member of Startup Princess and start building a solid foundation. Membership entitles you to a listing in the Startup Princess Online Directory where we list women owned businesses. You’ll also access exclusive content like articles, videos, and audio straight from your email inbox. Coupled with feature interviews, discounts on events, networking connections, and press opportunities, your Startup Princess membership will give any woman entrepreneur a great start for her business!

Then, take advantage of Touchpoint, our annual business conference for women entrepreneurs. Practical planning meets sky-high inspiration at this high-impact event for women business owners to network and develop their approach to business with wisdom and creative direction from other women entrepreneurs across the country.

Need a little help taking your business to the next step? Wish you had a fairy godmother like Cinderella offering you a helping hand? Now you can! Startup Princess is the home of Fairy Godmother Consulting, volunteer mentors sharing tips and insights to bless the lives of other women entrepreneurs.
