Get to Know Kelly King Anderson, Founder of Startup Princess

Fairy Godmother Sarah Bray of S. Joy Studios and MaTweeps, (a new fantastic blog focused on interviewing Twitter Users) interviewed me and I wanted to share it with you. I loved the questions she asked me, but they were very challenging, especially trying to be concise. I spent hours figuring out how to answer the one about how to be a rockin’ mom and entrepreneur because it’s the most difficult task I have before me each day, take a look at how I answered and if you’d like, please leave a comment, I’d love to hear from you.

Great interview! I have been feeling guilty lately about all the time that I have spent on my business versus the amount of time I have spent with my kids. It’s hard sometimes because I feel like I became a SAHM to be hands on with my children everyday. Even though they are generally sitting right next to me while I’m working I have felt a little guilty. I am sure that I am doing the right thing starting my business now but wrestle with the time issue. My ultimate goal is to open a B&m store but I know that I want that in the future when all of my children are in school. The work that I am doing now will help build my brand so that opening a store in the future is possible. I love the list that you gave of things that work for your family and that picture is beautiful. Are those really white couches I see in the background? I am dying to get some but worry that my kids will make me regret it;)
