Hi Rachel, I love what you wrote. Every opinion and angle seems to have another side that can be presented equally well if backed up with the right insight. I agree with you. If we wait until the stars align to make a move in business, we will likely be stuck in a frozen state of fear or excuses. Thank you for your comment and congratulations on your blog on Entrepreneur.com!

In praise of Wingin' It! :) I couldn't resist commenting because I kicked off my new blog on Entrepreneur.com (http:www.presspass.entrepreneur.com) with a post entitled "Welcome to Wingin' It" So I had to laugh when I read this post. For me, wingin' it is not a badge of honor, but a disclaimer.

Without jumping on a big soap box, and with nothing but love for Heather because she rocks - I have to say that more people need to embrace Wingin' It! Too many times we as women and entrepreneurs put ourselves within our little box of established skills, approaches and mindsets. As an entrepreneur you need to get so comfortable stepping outstide of those lines and doing things that you don't know how to do or are uncomfortable doing. A.K.A. - wingin' it. I did not go to school in public relations, marketing, or business strategy, but I leared through experience along the way. if I waited to be perfect at it, or perfectly planned I would have never moved forward.

So for me -- wingin' it-- is the willingness to participate in the great experiment of entrepreneurism. If we knew it all before we started, we'd all ready be on our island in Tahiti.
