The best advice I ever got when I started my company was from a dear friend that had started a bathing suit business importing from Brazil and after investing $30,000 decided it wasn't for her. She said 'start small, grow slow and think big'. It's been my motto since. Alot of people think that the best advice always comes from 'succesful' people, but I happen to think that alot of times it's just as important to know what 'not' to do.
