Erin Morgan, No Limits Ladies

Start Up Princess.com

Name: Erin Morgan (aka PRLinkbiz)

Hometown: Truckee, CA

Current Residence (City, State):  Phoenix, AZ

Education: Degree in Theology

Professional Background (brief, please): Build first business in 2003 as a stay at home mom, sold that, built a second business divorced out of that one, started a PR Company and have working with clients as well as on my own projects since 2005.

What you wanted to be when you grew up: I always wanted to work with women and have the freedom to do what I want…which is what I have!

What you are: Entrepreneur

Brief Summary of your Start Up: Most recently www.azsuperbowlblog.com

Company Website? None for PR Link, but you can find me at www.nolimitsladies.com

What inspired you? My kids and my freedom

How long have you been in business? Overall, since 2003

How did you fund it? Self, self and more self (or rather being able to sell)

Do you have a Fairy Godmother (or Mentor)? I have several friends who have taught me a lot, currently I consider Kim Kiyosaki the closest thing to that.

Do you belong to any Business Organization or Networking Groups? I have met nearly all my business and investing friends via the RichDad Forums, with the exception of one good friend  I met at Starbucks!  Starbucks…the other great place to network!

Current Business Challenge? Trying a new type of business model on azsuperbowlblog- sort of making it up as I go along!

What are you doing about it? Learning as much as I can from those more successful than myself, putting together a plan, and go after it!

Favorite motivational quote:  “I believe the key is for women to not set any limits.”

Family?  I’m a single mom with two great little guys!

If so, how do you balance family and business? I don’t. Some days my house is clean, the kids are happy and well fed and somedays it’s a little wilder…

Favorite book?  Just one?!  I’m a book whore…

What do you do to relax? I sleep?  To unwind, I love to hang with friends, going to coffee, or going out for drinks and dancing!

What do you want to change most about your world? More control (ha ha right?)

What are you most proud of? My kids

What advice would you like to offer other Start Up Princesses? When I started, I was so afraid of “doing it right”.  I have learned through the years there is no one right way… and in fact many successful people make it up as they go along!  Success values creativity and persistence over brains and beauty (thank God).

Favorite Magic Wand (tool/resource)? My friends who are market mavens.

If you could design a tiara, what precious stones would you use? Pink diamonds- lots of them and big!

Would you be interested in being a Fairy Godmother to another woman entrepreneur? (I am working on a secure system to do this, any ideas?) I don’t have the time for one on one, but I’m happy to contribute in writing, etc.

What business subjects would you feel comfortable mentoring in? PR baby.

Would you be interested in going to lunch with other women entrepreneurs for a “networking tea party”?  Sure! Can I drink coffee or spike my tea? lol

If you are out of Utah County, would you be willing to be a facilitator of such an event?  I might be able to do that!

Startup Princess is an international network committed to empowering Women Entrepreneurs by offering resources for women in business to support, mentor, collaborate, learn from, and inspire one another. In 2006, after struggling to raise funding for an initial startup business venture, Kelly King Anderson recognized an important market niche existed for reliable resources educating women desiring to start and grow successful businesses, thus Startup Princess was developed.

Successful women entrepreneurs understand that for every business venture, they are in charge of creating, organizing, developing, managing, and assuming all the risks associated with their enterprise. That can seem quite intimidating but as other women business owners will tell you, it’s a lot of work, but it’s worth it! Success is within your grasp and Startup Princess is here to help.

First, join as a member of Startup Princess and start building a solid foundation. Membership entitles you to a listing in the Startup Princess Online Directory where we list women owned businesses. You’ll also access exclusive content like articles, videos, and audio straight from your email inbox. Coupled with feature interviews, discounts on events, networking connections, and press opportunities, your Startup Princess membership will give any woman entrepreneur a great start for her business!

Then, take advantage of Touchpoint, our annual business conference for women entrepreneurs. Practical planning meets sky-high inspiration at this high-impact event for women business owners to network and develop their approach to business with wisdom and creative direction from other women entrepreneurs across the country.

Need a little help taking your business to the next step? Wish you had a fairy godmother like Cinderella offering you a helping hand? Now you can!
