I love the Vision Board idea Michelle. I’m a visual person and I don’t typically stick to resolutions mainly because they seem huge and unattainable. I’d much rather stick to quarterly goals! Thanks for sharing the idea, I’m going to give it a try.

So true, we have done this for years, learned it in Amway, but it has been a tremendous tool for truly visualizing our goals and seeing them come to fruition.

What a great article find!

I have never been one to create “resolutions” because it connotates something needs fixing before it even happens…thus, for me ACTION comes first and if I have to “resolve” something after my actions, at least I will know what it is:)

I especially like the part about giving ourselves the TIME to visualize. We need the time to dream, reflect, plan . . . I think that I get caught in the rat race sometimes, and miss out on this valuable tool.

Wow, that is so funny that you wrote this. I just wrote about my non-new year’s resolution. I was writing about how resolutions have become the equivalent of wishing-on-a-star dream making.

This year I’ve decided to do things differently. I made it a conscious act of determination. I wrote my “resolution” publicly on my personal blog and on all of my social networking accounts (for added accountability.) And I’m trying to persuade all my friends to do the same – so we can hold each other to them.

I wrote it on my whiteboard in my home office so I have a daily reminder.. that is, until I read about your great idea on making a vision board. I love it so much!! It goes along so well with my motivation of making this the greatest year of my life!

I will share your idea with all my friends! Thanks!
