We know firsthand what it’s like to be a startup, at times it can be downright frustrating, so when there’s a reason to celebrate, we do it! We’re celebrating our 2nd Birthday this month. What are you celebrating? We invite you to enter our contest and comment on your startup’s great news, new clients, recent press, increased sales, an emptied in-box, listening to a fabulous teleseminar… whatever equals momentum and growth for you! We want to celebrate with you!
To enter, please comment and you could win a $75 gift certificate at Sarah Jane Studios. (By the way, if you missed her recent Startup Princess featured interview, enjoy it here.)

I am celebrating my FIRST Jewish wedding! I am soooo excited!
I have decided to place my first ad to promote Bliss Notes, a free online guide to joyful living. It makes it feel more like a startup and less like a hobby. Which is a good thing!
I’m celebrating taking the freelance plunge! This week marked 1 month of working for myself, and I absolutely LOVE my new life!
Yes, it’s stressful not having a steady paycheck coming in every two weeks, but I am so excited about being able to spend a full work-week designing and developing web sites for my clients and marketing my own business.
Better yet, I’m excited to be able to have a more flexible work schedule so that I can spend more time with my husband and beautiful daughter. (I was juggling a full time job and my own business non-stop before quitting the day job… doing this has left SO much more time for my family).
I am celebrating a vacation to Seattle (currently typing in the car as I look out over the harbor) with my family. I am also celebrating restarting the giveaways on my blog http://blog.mom4life.com/ after a 2+ month break next Friday.
We are celebrating getting our latest designs (two maternity, one infant, and one mom & baby set) from the screen printer–something we thought might never happen. And by the 23rd I’ll be celebrating finally getting them online (http://www.georgietees.com/) for all to see! We’ve also added three new boutiques plus one in progress to our locations page. It’s been a good month.
Happy Second Birthday! I’m sure your two’s won’t be terrible – you have a great thing going!
This month I’m celebrating 9 years of Doodads! I can’t believe that it’s been nine years. Now I have to figure out what I’m going to do to take me to the next level. Still haven’t nailed that down.
As an entrepreneur, I always feel like I have a lot going on, but this month, I am thrilled to say that I am celebrating the coming of our first child (due this Nov), a relocation for our business and family to Charlotte, NC, and the successful completion of our new Spring 09 collection! I am one very blessed gal!!
I’m celebrating completing my first wedding as the professional photographer. Even with many weddings under my belt as a second shooter/assistant, I’m relieved this one went off without a hitch, especially since it was my twin sister’s wedding!!
I am a fan of Sarah’s work! She is a huge inspiration and a great girl to chat with.
This month I am celebrating the success I have achieved in four months from the start up of my business.
I am celebrating being a new stay-at-home mom who is having the time of her life watching her beautiful two babies grow up right before her eyes. I am enjoying keeping a journal about all their little “firsts” and antics that I hope to give to them when they grow up, as a book filled with photos & mementos.
I’m also celebrating working on my art & jewelry biz from home and hope to launch before the end of September. I can’t wait!
I recently started my business last month, and to me it was celebrating being a woman and having so many resources and opportunities out there. And who doesn’t always love a new purse or jewelry!
I’m celebrating the recent launch of my business and products, My Life On Time time management planners (www.mylifeontime.com). I have always worked in Corporate America, so daily I celebrate the opportunity to be a mommy and a businesswoman!
I love her artwork. I have one of her prints and she reminds me of a young Mary Engelbreit! I am celebrating my 5th Anniversary this year!
Congrats! I’m celebrating a second birthday with Now I Can Physical Therapy, a move to a new and better facility, an becoming a non-profit! This will help us better assist families in paying for physical therapy for their disabled child. Hope all can join us at a benefit concert August 26, in Orem UT at the SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre–Alex Boye and Jenny Jordan Frogley and Macario! http://www.scera.org or http://www.nowican.org
I am celebrating “going live” with a new website in the next week which my partner and I are working on – we are together in Phoenix right now working. We live on opposite coasts and It is the first time we have been face to face since we came up with the idea 10 months ago. We have done all the work over the phone or via email!
Everyday is a celebration for me, because I can spend more time with my little girl…and I can celebrate the important mile stones in her life, and in my business. Yesterday I was there, when she went potty all by herself, and she got so excited and gave me a hug, a big kiss, and we danced and danced, and since yesterday, she uses panties instead of diapers…(without any accidents!!)
Every success in my business is due to God, my customers, my family, and my commitment to all of them, because they all come first. I love what I do, and that is the key to success, and I am sure that is the key to all of the other success stories here. Good luck to you all, and may God bless your business and your life!!
I have something really huge to celebrate regarding my non-profit organization for Bulgarian orphans. A few days ago, we received an unexpected donation of $15,000!!! I’m so grateful to God and the donor for this major blessing, which will allow us to help more orphans.
I’m celebrating my first born going to pre-school, my last born’s 1st birthday and the year (this year) when my idea WILL come to fruition.
Happy Anniversary Start Up Princess!
Happy 2nd birthday StartUp Princess! You’ve done great things for so many.
We (my husband also happens to be my business partner) are celebrating some big news here at KangarooBoo!
We appeared in editorials in national magazines in May and June this year!!! We just launched less than 9 months ago! We thank Pregnancy & Newborn Magazine, and Parents Magazine for the wonderful opportunities and great exposure.
Second, we are moving to a bigger and better space! The lease has been signed, the keys handed over, and moving loads of boxes is commencing these couple of weeks. We have ran out of room in our current space and simply must move to accommodate the growth. We’re a little overwhelmed but very excited and thankful. We are ready for the holiday season!!!
What a beautiful idea. We are just starting our publishing company and celebrating the first book, “My Name is Not Isabella” by Jennifer Fosberry, Pictures by Mike Litwin. This first book is in Amazon, has some positive reviews and is being well received. Now just need to figure out how to spread the word.
You can see more of this picture book at http://www.monkeybarrelpress.com.
