I found these statistics so interesting at Touchpoint last week, and I enjoyed seeing them again. Thanks for sharing!

I would say that if you interviewed 7777 female entrepreneurs you would find the same thing. It never phases me when I tell someone what I do and they almost always say, “Hey have you considered contacting Oprah?” Um, yes….uh YES! It is the golden touch for your product to have the fabulous Ms. O give you (or your company) that seal of approval. I don’t think there has ever been a better vehicle for promoting women in our life time.

Sad I was not there – but I um, would you mark me down as number 78 for my biggest mostest bestest wish for my company?

In 2006, after struggling to raise funding for an initial startup business venture, Kelly King Anderson recognized an important market niche existed for reliable resources educating women desiring to start and grow successful businesses, thus Startup Princess was developed.

Successful women entrepreneurs understand that for every business venture, they are in charge of creating, organizing, developing, managing, and assuming all the risks associated with their enterprise.
